Earlier, the ratio of the weightage carried by the REET results and the academic results of the candidates considered in their Selection for the job was 70:30. That means, the REET results would carry 70% weightage and the academic results would carry 30% weightage during the selection process of the candidates for the government teaching jobs. However, this weightage system has been revised and now it is 90:10. That means, now the REET will have 90% weightage and the academic results will have only 10 % weightage during the selection process. The candidates who will successfully clear all these stages of the selection process will be given appointment letters.
