Sol.  A x (90/100) = (B x 30)/100
= A x 3 = B
= A x x% => A x 3 = (x/100) = 3
x = 300

Sol. Required percentage = (40×100+50×90+60×80)/(40+50+60)  = 88.66%

S3. Ans.(a)
Sol. Let y be 100
x = 75
Required percent = (25 x 100)/75 = 33.33%

Sol. Fourth number = (4×4+4×4 – 3×7)
= (16 + 16-21) = 11

(x/3)+12 = x+2
x + 36 = 3x + 6

Sol. Let Arun’s weight by X kg.
According to Arun, 65 < X < 72
According to Arun’s brother, 60 < X < 70.
According to Arun’s mother, X <= 68
The values satisfying all the above conditions are 66, 67 and 68.
Required average = (66 + 67 + 68)/3 = 201/3   = 67 kg.

Sol. L.C.M. of 252, 308 and 198 = 2772.
So, A, B and C will again meet at the starting point in 2772 sec.
i.e., 46 min. 12 sec.
