
PSTET has always conducted one in year by State Council of Educational Research & Training(SCERT), Punjab. The detail of PSTET Eligibility criteria, PSTET Examination Pattern, and Question paper of PSTET 2018 are given below:
Eligibility Criteria for TET:
- Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: (Primary Stage):
- Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
PSTET Examination Pattern:
There will be two papers of PSTET 2018 :
- Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
- Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
- Paper I (for Classes I to V) Primary Stage: (Duration of examination-2:30 Hrs)

Validity Of PSTET 2018:
The Validity Period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment will be maximum of seven years for all categories.
