Solutions

S1. Ans.(c)

Sol.

S2. Ans.(d)

Sol.

S3. Ans.(d)
Sol. According the Pythagorean theorem
13² = 5² + 12²
169 = 25 + 144 ⇒ 169 = 169
∴ These sides represent a right angled triangle.

S4. Ans.(d)
Sol.

S5. Ans.(b)
Sol. As each of the angle of a square is equal to 90°.
∴ Sum of all interior angle of a square is 360°.

S6. Ans.(c)
Sol.
Sum of interior angles of a∆ = 180°
∴ x° + 35° + 30° = 180°
⇒ x = 180° – 35° – 30° = 115°

S7. Ans.(c)
Sol. According to Pythagorean theorem
632+ 16² = (other number)²
3969 + 256 = (other number)²
Other number = √4225 = 65

S8. Ans.(a)
Sol. double

S9. Ans.(c)
Sol. Supplementary angles are pairs of angles whose measures upto 180 degrees.
Hence, let one angle be x. Since they are equal,
∴ the other angle is also equal to x.
So, x + x = 180 ⇒ 2x = 180
∴ x = 90

S10. Ans.(b)

Sol.
