Maths Questions for CTET,KVS Exam : 10th December 2018 (Solutions)_80.1
S 4. Ans.(c)
Sol.
We have,
x + y +z = 6 & xy + yz + zx = 10
∴ x² + y² + z² = (x +y +z)² – 2 (xy + yz + zx)
= 36 – 2 × 10 = 16
Now,
x³ + y³ + z³ -3xyz = (x +y+ z) (x² + y² + z² – xy -yz – zx)
= (6) (16 -10)
= 6 × 6 = 36
