Vocabulary is an important part of English that helps you deal with all kinds of questions in objective as well as descriptive papers of various exams. In the recently concluded Teaching Exams, we witnessed that a major part of the exam was based on vocabulary. Many questions were vocab based and we can expect the same in the upcoming exams. It becomes very important to learn ample amount of words for the upcoming Government Job Exams. You can learn new words daily from our Daily Word List. Here is a list of words from daily Editorials. AMBIGUOUS (Noun) अस्पष्ट

Meaning: having an often intentionally veiled or uncertain meaning.
Synonyms: arcane, cryptic, dark, deep, Delphic, double-edged, elliptical
Antonyms: abstruse, esoteric, recondite
Usage: The exact reason for the change in plans is ambiguous, but I suspect it has something to do with money.
INSISTENCE (Noun) आग्रह
Meaning: a solemn and often public declaration of the truth or existence of something
Synonyms: affirmation, assertion, asseveration, avouchment, declaration, profession, protestation
Antonyms: disavowal
Usage: We got to know by the continued insistence that there was a massive cover-up by the government.

SCOFF (Verb) व्यंग्य
Meaning: speak to someone or about something in a scornfully derisive or mocking way.
Synonyms: mock, deride, ridicule
Antonyms: flatter, praise, compliment
Usage: The rude rich boy thought it was fun to scoff at the poor people at his school.

REVERE (verb) सम्मान
Meaning: feel deep respect or admiration for (something)
Synonyms: respect, admire, cherish, appreciate.
Antonyms: blaspheme, desecrate, profane, violate.
Usage: If you want to achieve any goal, revere the process & success will follow.
PROFANE(adjective)अपवित्र
Meaning: vulgar and inappropriate
Synonyms: coarse, nasty
Antonyms: kind, polite
Usage: They have profaned the long upheld traditions of the Temple.
Concurrence  (noun) सन्निपतन
Meaning: the fact of two or more events or circumstances happening or existing at the same time.
Synonym:concordance, cooperation, coincidence.
Antonym: dissonance, discord.
Usage: Because the events ran in concurrence, the coordinator could not attend both parties at the same time.
Unprecedented (adjective) अभूतपूर्व
Meaning: never done or known before.
Synonym: unequaled, unmatched, unrivaled.
Antonym: precedented, familiar, usual.
Usage: The damage caused by the hurricane is unprecedented and has never been experienced before in this country.

AGITATION(verb)आंदोलन
Meaning: a state of anxiety or nervous excitement.
Synonym: anxiety, perturbation, disquiet
Antonym: calmness, relaxation
Usage: Payal entered the room with an agitated face.
