CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility TEST) is one of the popular exams conducted by CBSE for teaching aspirants in all over India who want to get teaching govt. jobs. According to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) under RTE act, TET exam is minimum and essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII in school. his will be the first time ever, for CBSE to implement the normalization process for CTET score calculation. Here we are going to help you with CTET exam pattern and strategy related with each subject i.e. Child Development, Mathematics, Science, Hindi and English of CTET which will get you 60% score in your exam.
Subject wise CTET Exam Strategy:
CTET Paper I
There will be 5 subjects i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics and Environmental studies. Language -1 & 2 is chosen by candidates according to the educational qualifications.
- CTET Paper I: based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT for classes upto VIII.
- Difficulty level: up to the Secondary stage.

CTET Paper 2
There will be 5 subjects i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-1, Language-2, Mathematics EVS, and Science or Social Studies or Any language. Language -1 & 2 is chosen by candidates according to the educational qualifications. Teaching subjects is selected by candidate based on their qualification.
The difficulty level of questions in CTET Paper will be given below:
- Paper I & II: based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT for classes upto X
- Difficulty level : up to the Senior Secondary stage.

- Paper – I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.

- Exam pattern of the CTET 2021: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).
CTET New Syllabus 2021 & Exam Pattern
- Cut- Off / Qualifying Marks and Award of CTET Certificate: The Candidates securing 60% (General) and above marks will be issued marks statement and Eligibility Certificate.
