Haryana TGT, PRT & PGT Eligibility criteria
The candidates who wish to apply for the post of PGT, TGT and PRT should go through the eligibility criteria to ensure they are eligible for the posts.

Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Primary Teacher(PRT) (Class I -V):
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education).
OR
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary/Graduation/Post graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.
&
Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) of the concerned subject.

Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII):
(i)Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
(i)Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
OR
(i)Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

(i) Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university
