DSSSB PGT Previous Year’s Exam Analysis: the Delhi subordinate services selection board (DSSSB) conducts recruitment exams once a year to appoint teacher for various post. DSSSB 2021 Exam Pattern for PGT
Before the candidates hop in to the analysis of trh DSSSB exam, they should have a fair idea of the exam pattern of the DSSSB exam. The paper is mainly divided into two parts- Part-A and Part-B. Part-A is equally divided in to five part and each part carrying 20 marks. Part consist of General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, English Language and Hindi Language. Part-B is subject specific such as Sociology, Physics, Physical Education, Political Science, Maths, Computer Science, Geography, English, Hindi, Commerce, History, Biology, Sanskrit, and Economics.

0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in DSSSB Exam.
DSSSB PGT Exam Analysis: Difficulty Level
The candidates have to answer 300 questions in 3 hours. Each carries 1 mark and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks against each wrong answer. The Quatitivative section is always the most challenging of all. Last year this section was easy to moderate in difficulty level. It required patience and diligence to crack this section. DSSSB PGT Exam Analysis: Subject Concerned
The DSSSB PGT exam was conducted on subjects like Sociology, Physics, Physical Education, Political Science, Maths, Computer Science, Geography, English, Hindi, Commerce, History, Biology, Sanskrit, and Economics.
- The PGT English paper was moderate in nature. Questions asked on grammar were from graduation and post graduation level. In the previous year question paper, questions on Metaphysical poets, literary criticism, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, autobiographies of Kamala das, Chaucer’s Canterbury tale were seen.
- The difficulty level of the PGT History paper was moderate in nature. We witnessed questions on Constitution and the articles, Mesopotamia and Rome, Medieval History, Mughal Empire and so on. Some of the topics were very common and easy.
- The PGT Geography paper was easy to moderate. Questions on Post world War-II, Market Geography, Global Climatic Change, Continental Drift and Plate Tectonics and landslide were seen. These topics are an integral and important part of the PRT Geography Syllabus.
