Do’s & Don’t In CTET CBT Exam: The CTET Exam 2021 will be conducted from 16th December 2021 to 13th January 2022 by the Central Board of Secondary Education. As the exam is almost at the doorstep, the candidates should get started with packing their bags with all the essential items required to carry for the CTET exam 2021. The candidates should get going with the Do’s and Don’ts of the CTET CBT Exam. This is the first time when the CTET exam 2021 will be conducted online (CBT) i.e. Computer Based Test. Thus, candidates should give extra attention to the rules and regulations prescribed by the CBSE to successfully conduct the CTET online exam 2021. Do’s In CTET CBT Exam 2021:

The candidates should follow the instructions and pointers mentioned below to avoid any hassle on the CTET exam day.

  • Take a printout of the First and Second Phases of the Admit Card. Without both the CTET admit card printouts, candidates will not be allowed to the examination center.
  • Take a printout of the Self- Declaration form and properly fill it. The candidates will have to carry the self-declaration form to the examination centre on the CTET exam date 2021.
  • The candidates must report to the examination centre at least 120 minutes ahead of the commencement of the examination.
  • The candidates should bring their own black/blue pen to write down particulars (if required).
  • The candidates should sign the attendance sheet before leaving the examination hall.
  • The candidates should visit the allotted examination centre one day before the examination to ensure the mode of transportation, locality, distance from their location and so on.
  • Do carry extra copies of admit card in case you misplace it.
  • Check the computer system before the exam starts. In case there is an issue with the computer system, the candidates can raise the issue to the invigilator and the computer system will be replaced.

Must Carry Items to the Examination Center:

The candidates must carry these items to the examination center. If the candidates fail to bring any of the following items then the candidates will not be allowed in the examination hall by the Center Superintendent. CTET candidates should check out the following items and arrange their bags the night before the exam properly.

  • Printout of CTET admit card 2021
  • Printout of CTET Self-Declaration Form
  • One Photo ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, Passport)
  • Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black)
  • Transparent Bottle of Hand Sanitizer (50 ml)
  • Mask
  • Transparent Water Bottle (500 ml)

Don’ts In CTET CBT Exam 2021:

Candidates must avoid doing or carrying the following items mentioned below.

  • Do not carry any of the barred items listed by the CBSE.
  • Do not attempt to use any unfair means.
  • Do not get stuck on one question for too long.
  • Do not guesswork at the beginning of the exam. Rather, click on the Review button for the questions you couldn’t attempt. Come back later to re-attempt these questions if you have time left at the last minute of the exam.
  • Do not speed read the questions. This might lead to misunderstanding and confusion regarding the questions. Read all the questions properly before answering them.
  • Do not panic during the exam. On the contrary, stay calm and relaxed while answering the questions.
  • Do not leave any questions unattempted. There is no negative marking so no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer. Thus, try to attempt 100% of the questions to increase your chance of scoring some extra points.
  • Don’t forget to bring your to admit card and other important documents.

List of Barred Items in CTET exam Centre:

The candidates are prohibited to carry these items inside the exam hall. The candidates found in possession of these items will not be allowed to sit for the CTET exam 2021. Thus, CTET candidates should refrain from carrying such items inside the exam hall.
