The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 results on its official website, ctet.nic.in.
According to the CBSE, the CTET result has been released in a record time of 23 days after the examination.
As per the result announced, approximately 3.52 lakh candidates have qualified the exam for CTET eligibility certificate. Among all qualified candidates, as many as 2.15 lakh candidates have qualified in CTET paper I while 1.37 lakh candidates have made it in CTET paper II.
As per officials, 29.22 lakh candidates had registered for CTET July 2019 exam while only 23.77 lakh candidate appeared. So that the pass percentage remained only 14.80% for this session.
How to check CBSE CTET Result 2019:
- Log on to the official website, ctet.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘CTET July 2019 result
- Enter your registration number, date of birth or other details
- On submitting the same, CBSE CTET Result 2019 will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take print out of the same for future use.
What is the validity of CTET Certificate:
CTET is a national level entrance examination.If any candidates obtain CTET certificate in 2019 then eligible to apply for teacher recruitment for the next seven years.
Candidates who qualify the exam become eligible to apply for teachers posts in central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Tibetan School etc. Along with the Central government-funded school, many states and private schools have also started considering CTET as a major eligibility criterion in the teacher recruitment process.
