CTET Exam Pattern 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases the CTET exam pattern along with the notification. As an applicant, you have to be aware of the CTET Exam Pattern for Paper-I & II Exam. This time, Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted in an online mode as a computer-based test only. CTET Exam Pattern 2021

In CTET exam pattern 2021 Paper 1, 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked from five subjects, includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, Paper 2 comprises four subjects Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science, or Social Studies/Social Sciences. One mark is given to correct answers and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Paper-I will be conducted for candidates who wish to be teachers for Classes I to IV.

Paper-II will be conducted for candidates who wish to be teachers for Classes VI to VIII.

CTET Exam Pattern 2021- Paper II

CTET Paper-I exam is divided into 4 sections. Candidates have to choose between Mathematics & Science and Social Studies in Paper 2. Total number of questions and marks distributions for Paper-2 is given below:

Note: Maths & Science or Social Science are optional in nature.

Penalty for Wrong Answers

All inquiries in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Out of the four choices, one answer will be generally proper. Each right answer conveys one mark and there will be no negative marking. The term of each stage is 2.5 hours. The given Syllabus will enable you to cover every one of the points on which test questions are based. Ans. CTET is conducted in Online from now onwards.
