Y20 Summit 2023
From February 6 to February 8, 2023, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will host the Youth20 Summit. The occasion is being hosted today on the campus of the institute, and Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, is invited. Together with different Y20 Delegates, he will take part in a youth dialogue.
Y20 Summit 2023: Schedule
According to the official information, this first-ever three-day event will take place during India’s G20 Presidency and feature a panel discussion where research papers will also be presented. Research papers written by students, professors, and various researchers will then be published following the panel discussion conference.
Y20 Summit 2023: First-ever Youth20 Summit
The first-ever Youth20 Summit is being put on by IIT Guwahati and will end on February 8, 2023. At 4 o’clock today, the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur, will take part in a Youth Dialogue. The IIT Guwahati campus will host the formal discussion. Additionally, student research papers on diverse topics will be given.
The presentation of the paper will cover a range of Y20 Summit 2023 topics. Himanta Biswa Sharma, the Chief Minister of Assam, will attend the discussion meeting today at the IIT Guwahati campus along with the Union Minister.

Delegates to attend Y20 Summit 2023
General VK Singh, GP Singh, Hima Das, and others will take part in the panel discussion today, according to an official announcement. The Youth20 Summit 2023 began on February 6, 2023, at IIT Guwahati.
A cultural night was hosted after the symposium for the Y20 Delegates. According to a representative, Singer Papon gave a performance at Lachit Ghat Island during the cultural night. Additionally, the Youth 20 Summit will feature more than 150 representatives from G20 member nations through February 8th, 2023. Additionally, this year’s Y20 events are anticipated to draw more than 12000 students from various colleges and universities.

Y20 Summit 2023: Objectives
In order to familiarise students with the G20 groupings and how they operate as a whole, it was stated that all higher education institutions (HEIs) in the state of Assam would conduct massive awareness campaigns.
The primary goal of the Y20 event is to give young people a platform on which to voice their concerns about problems in the current or contemporary society. It has been mandated that the Y20 Inception Meet at IIT Guwahati lay out the plans for the Y20 Summit 2023 during India’s G20 Presidency.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur to participate in Dialogue of Y20 Summit 2023

Y20 Summit 2023 started in IIT Guwahati
Y20 Summit 2023 kicked in IIT Guwahati yesterday, February 6, 2023. The Y20 delegates participated in an ice-breaker activity, which was followed by a cultural night. Singer Papon gave a performance at the Lachit Ghat Island during the cultural night.
The Youth 20 conference will continue through February 8, 2023, with participation from more than 150 representatives from G20 member nations. The Y20 events are also expected to draw more than 12,000 college and university students.
The official announcement went on to say that all higher education institutions in Assam would conduct informational campaigns in ten nearby schools to educate the students about the G20 groupings and how they operate.
