Problems Faced By Students and Teachers of state boards in India due to Covid 19 Lockdown.
Students this year were quite confused as they were attending the online classes for the first time. Few of them complained that they would not concentrate properly in the online classes. The internet too frequently goes down as all the work is done by the Internet. Parents seemed to be worried as many of the students cheated during the online examinations and didn’t concentrate during the online classes.
Teachers too faced problems with the new method of teaching. Few stated that at times either the Internet is down or the student and at other times the students aren’t concentrating. They would feel the lack of one-to-one communication which took place previously during the class hour. This has proved to be a great disadvantage for the older teachers who were not accustomed to technology previously.
Private schools were still in better condition than government schools. Teachers were not able to conduct regular classes in government schools as students from rural areas didn’t have access to smartphones and laptops to connect with the teachers.
The condition all over the country is still degrading. Government is not able to assure when the situations are going to improve so that students can return to their schools. We must not lose hope and wait for things to get back to normal. Stay healthy and stay safe.
