WB 12th Board Exam Date (Out): Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the nationwide lockdown has resulted in all academic activities in the country is either stopped or postponed. This has majorly affected the students whose board examinations were cancelled mid-way due to the threat of the pandemic. Class 12th students in West Bengal also faced the same uncertainty. But now after the latest announcement from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, the students can breathe a sigh of relief. As per the latest update from the council, the WB 12th Board Exams 2020 will now be conducted from 2nd July 2020 onwards.
The education minister of West Bengal, Mr. Partha Chatterjee announced the dates for the West Bengal 12th Board Exams 2020 on 19th May 2020. While the official date sheet has not yet been released for the exams, it is expected to be released soon on the official website of WBCHSE @ www.wbchse.nic.in. So, the students must log-on to the official website of the council once the date sheet is released there and start their preparations for the exams accordingly.
West Bengal 12th Board Pending Exams 2020: Detailed Guidelines
The West Bengal 12th Board Exams 2020 has to be postponed in the state in order to control the threat of the coronavirus pandemic. Now that the dates have been announced, students of class 12th can breathe a sigh of relief. The exams will be conducted on 2nd July 2020 and will end on 8th July 2020. The detailed date sheet will be released within a few days. According to the education minister, all precautions will be taken during the exams for the safety of the students including social distancing, face masks, and sanitizers.
While most WB 12th Board Exams 2020 have been completed by 21st March 2020 but then due to the sudden announcement of lockdown, a few exams were left. The subjects for which the exams will be conducted are Arabic, French, Education, Accountancy, Persian, Statistics Chemistry, Sanskrit, Geography, Costing and Taxation, Economics, Journalism, Physics, Nutrition, Home Management, and Family Resource Management.
WB Intermediate Board Exams 2020: Council Still Awaiting Instructions
When a senior officer of the WBCHSE was contacted regarding the preparations for the West Bengal 12th Board Exams 2020, it was informed that they are still to receive any guidelines from the government on this matter. Once the guidelines are received, only then anything can be confirmed.
The education minister further informed that there will be over 2,500 examination centers for West Bengal 12th Board Exams 2020 in which more than 2 lakh students will be appearing for the exams. The students will be divided in such a way that no more than 80 to 100 students are present at any given examination center.
