Every question in the CUET UG 2025 exam is of objective type. That is, the CUET question paper consists of only multiple choice questions having 4 options. Students are required to choose the most appropriate answer.
NTA has kept the CUET marking scheme 2025 similar to the previous year. Marks for every correct answer: +5 Marks for every incorrect answer: -1 Marks for un-attempted questions: 0
No, the CUET UG exam does not contain multiple select questions having more than 1 correct answer. Every question in CUET 2025 has only one correct answer.
The CUET UG 2025 exam is divided into three sections consisting of different types of subject groups. Section 1: Language Test (13 subjects available) Section 2: Domain Subjects (23 subjects) Section 3: General Aptitude Test (GAT)
There is no minimum requirement on the number of subjects that students can appear for in the exam, however, there is a maximum limit. Students can appear for only 5 test papers in the CUET 2025 exam from any section or combination of sections.
Now every subject in the CUET UG 2025 exam will consist of 50 multiple choice questions all of which are compulsory. There are no optional questions now in the CUET UG exam.
The maximum marks per subject in the CUET 2025 exam is 250. Students can have a maximum score of 1250 if he/she appears for 5 test papers. Most universities want a subject combination of 1 language, 1 GAT and 2 domain subjects, leading to a score of 1000.
