School reopening News: UP, Delhi, Haryana, Assam, Tamil Nadu among others after a pandemic

Schools are reopening in various states of India after the long pandemic break. The students have returned to their schools starting from September 1st. Currently, the schools have reopened for Classes 9 to 12 in Delhi along with the colleges and coaching institutions.

50% students are allowed per classroom, staggered lunch breaks, alternate seating arrangements, and avoiding guest visitors are some of the rules that are to be adhered to by the school authorities amid reopening the schools.

On the other hand, Tamil Nadu has made the transportation of students free for classes 9 to 12. Students can travel in any of the buses to the educational institutions without a bus pass. Haryana Government reopened the schools amid the pandemic for classes 4 to 5. They are required to carry written permission of the parents, stating that they are comfortable sending their ward to the school.

The other states where schools are reopening after the pandemic include UP, MP, Rajasthan, Telangana, Assam, and Puducherry.

Children’s with at least one dose of vaccination can return to their respective schools with the permission of parents. Most of the students stated that they faced difficulty following the instructions in online classes. This affected their learning graph and hence the decision to reopen the schools was taken by the governments of the respective states.
