  • Regarding 38.8 lakh registrations this year, including more than 16 lakh from state boards, “the students taking part in the Pariksha pe Charcha programme will also be taken to places of national importance like Rajghat, Sadaiv Atal, Prime Minister’s Museum, Kartavya Path, etc. to make them acquainted with our rich legacy. This is more than twice as many registrations as there were for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 (15.73 lakh).

  • PM Modi claimed that Pariksha Pe Charcha, in which he responds to queries from students, parents, and teachers, is an exam for him when speaking to students at the PPC 2023 event.
  • In response to a query from kids about the pressure families feel to perform well on examinations, PM Modi replied, “Family expectations of the child are natural.
  • However, it is a worrying concept if the expectations are set to retain their social standing in society.
  • If their children perform below expectations, parents shouldn’t feel inferior. Students should be aware that expectations are a personal matter that will persist even if they do well on examinations.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged students to practise “digital fasting,” which entails limiting screen time at least “once a week,” during the sixth Pariksha Pe Charcha. Digital fasting, according to him, will “reconnect pupils with family members.”
  • Exams are not the end of a student’s life, Prime Minister Modi reiterated on the sixth episode of Pariksha Pe Charcha. And they shouldn’t give in to the pressure of the exams; instead, they should view it as a challenge and concentrate on getting better.
  • In addition to students, the prime minister provided parents with guidance on tests and how to interact with their children.

Prime Minister talked to parents in the “Pariksha PE Charcha 2023” event and laid out some guidelines that the parents should follow for the betterment of their children:

  • Parents shouldn’t set standards that are intended to uphold their social standing in society.
  • Parents shouldn’t experience inferiority complexes if their kids perform below expectations.
  • Avoid limiting or attempting to contain youngsters.
  • Let the kids choose their own way.
  • Let them fly and show them that the sky is the limit.
  • Keep an eye out for any adjustments in the child’s behaviour.

The Prime Minister said as he wrapped up his remarks at the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 event that parents and teachers should watch over their kids, keep an eye out for any changes in their behaviour, keep them safe, make sure they don’t hang out with troublemakers, but also teach them that the sky is the limit and watch them carve a path for themselves.
