NEET is the entrance exam held for undergraduate students who aspire to pursue MBBS. MBBS is a degree awarded to students who complete the 5.5 years course. NEET Exam Dates for 2021 has been declared and the application form for the same is to start form 13th July 5 pm onwards.

 

NEET 2021 Latest News: Exam Dates Announced

The official dates for the undergraduate entrance exam for medical aspirants, NEET has been announced. The exam will be held on 12th September 2021. The dates were announced by the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The decision was announced through a series of tweets released by the minister.

Face masks will be provided to all the students in the examination centres. The entry and exit will also be planned according to the total number of students. Earlier the exam was scheduled from August 1, 2021.

NEET 2021 Latest News: Registrations Starts from 13 July

NEET Latest News: The application for the NEET Exam will start from 13th July 2021 from 5 pm onwards.  NEET 2021 Latest News for application can be filled by visiting the official website of NTA where the neet application link will be active from 5 pm onwards. The number of cities where the exam will be conducted has been increased from the existing 155 to 198. He ensured the number of examination centers will also increase.

NEET 2021- Alterations made from NEET 2020

On the advice of the Union Health Ministry, there have been few changes implemented in NEET by the Medical Council of India. The major change that took place has been reduction on the syllabus of the various entrance exams. Due to covid 19 pandemic in the country most of the board exams were canceled. And the portions were reduced for the board exams too. As a result, the NEET entrance exam too has been reduced.

  • Students who belong to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have the right to claim seats under 15%qouta of All India NEET 2021 medical seats.
  • The Category-wise age limit continues to take place whereas the restriction on the no. of total attempts has been elevated.
  • It is still mandatory to qualify NEET, if a candidate wishes to pursue medical abroad.
  • Other valid ID proofs can be used during filling of the application for NEET Exam. Earlier Aadhar Card of the candidates was mandatory to be produced before entering the examination centre. This has been evoked.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2021

Candidates should have passed class 12th or going to appearing for class 12th exam 2021. The student should have completed the minimum lower age limit of 17 years is eligible for NEET 2021.

Admit Card for NEET 2021

As the application dates have been released on 13th July 2021, the admit cards are expected to be released by end of July or latest by first week of August. NTA will release the admit card on the official website for NEET a month before the exam date. Candidates are advised to keep a regular check of the dates on the official website. Valid ID proof with admit card is mandatory to carry.

 

Result Declaration for NEET 2021

NTA will release the NEET result soon after the exam on their official website. The rank and score obtained will be valid for AIIMS and JIMPER.

 

Merit List for NEET 2021

NTA will release the merit list after the exam and will handover it to the Counselling body DGHS. There will be a total of three lists that would be provided:

  • The “All India Merit list”- All India Rank (AIR)
  • AIQ Merit List- All India Quota (AIQ) Rank
  • States` Merit Lists- State Rank

Counselling Procedure of NEET 2021

 

  • Generally, there are 3 rounds of counseling is conducted and if the seats are still vacant then there will be a mop round of counseling.
  • Candidates will be required to register for NEET Counselling at the official website of MCC.
