Latest reports suggest that the Jharkhand Academic Council has finalized the dates for the evaluation process of Matric and Intermediate Exams to start from 28th May, 2020. The council had taken to All India Radio to announce the new update. According to the media reports, the council has made extensive efforts to conduct the evaluation and complete it within the limited time, so as to declare the results of Jharkhand Matric and Intermediate Exams 2020 promptly.
After this has been executed as per plan, the students will be able to check the results by June 2020. The plan has also been approved for execution by the Education Department of Jharkhand, and the evaluation process has been confirmed to begin on 28th May. This evaluation process for board exams has been executed in top priority keeping in mind the future of the students, according to Jharkhand Academic Council Secretary, Mahip Kumar Singh.

“The evaluation of papers will be conducted in 67 centres of 19 districts in Jharkhand from 28th May. More than 9,500 evaluators are being engaged in the task,” said JAC secretary Mahip Kumar Singh. “If evaluation goes as per our plan, it will take 25 days to complete. If it happens, we may declare the results by July first week. We cannot fix a date for declaration of results right now due to the prevailing situation of Covid-19,” he added.
As per the plan for a strict evaluation process, 67 evaluation centres have been identified by the council. The evaluation is for the answer sheets of the board exam which had taken place earlier this year in February 2020. Majority of these 67 evaluation centres for the Jharkhand Board Exam that were finalized are in the district headquarters itself. The evaluation centres are expected to adhere to all the safety and health protocols under strict observation and surveillance. Live surveillance of the evaluation process will be broadcast through the CCTV cameras on the JAC portal to monitor that the evaluation centres follow the guidelines for protection against COVID 19 infection.

As important, the guidelines are to ensure a transparent and clean process of evaluation, so are the abidance to the precautionary protocols against the Coronavirus. The Jharkhand Academic Council has meticulously planned and ensured that these protocols and guidelines as specified by the government and health department, are properly followed at the evaluation centres. The below mentioned are the precautionary protocols to be followed at the evaluation centres.
- The teachers, evaluators and other personnel involved in the process should wear masks throughout the day.
- Hand sanitizers are to be used compulsorily every 2 hours to sanitize the hands.
- The seating arrangement for the teachers and evaluators must follow the social distancing norms and should be at least 6 feet apart.
- Each teacher or evaluators are expected to check 30 answer scripts per day.
