Ever since the nationwide lockdown has been implemented, all the schools and colleges in the country have been closed to control the spread of the infection. But in order to ensure that the academic session goes on as smoothly as possible, the Human Resource Development Minister, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been conducting live webinars regularly wherein he shares important information and updates regarding the government’s decisions relating to the education sector.
In his previous webinars, he interacted with parents and teachers, but now in his next webinar, he will be interacting with the teachers. The live webinar will be conducted on May 14, 2020, wherein the minister will interact with the teachers and also answer their queries.

While announcing the webinar, the HRD Ministry urged the teachers to participate in the webinar and raise their queries. Keeping this in mind, Education Minister @DrRPNishank will be hosting a webinar exclusively for you on May 14 | 12.00 Noon.
Share your queries with him using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.” There is a lot of excitement regarding the webinar as in previous webinars; the HRD Minister had shared some important updates like dates for JEE Mains 2020, NEET 2020, and CBSE Examinations. Regarding the announcement of college exam dates, it has been informed that the decision will be made by the respective universities as per the guidelines issued by the UGC.
The HRD Minister himself tweeted that, “I have always had a special place for teachers in my heart, and hence I am very excited to announce my next webinar exclusively for teachers on May 14 at 12 noon. Looking forward to receiving your queries and suggestions.” Teachers have been encouraged to post their questions and queries to the minister during the webinar. Teachers will have to use the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive to join the webinar and post their queries.

In the series of webinars being conducted by the HRD Minister, another webinar has been scheduled for May 11, 2020. The topic of the webinar is higher education post-COVID 19, and it will commence at 04.00 PM.
On the announcement of this webinar, the Association of Indian Universities tweeted, “Please join the interactive session with the Hon’ble HRM @DrRPNishank on Higher Education post COVID19 era on May 11 at 04.00 PM at http://facebook.com/cmnishank.” The Association of Indian Universities is organizing this interaction between the HRD Minister and the VCs of the universities.
