JEE Main 2022: Attempt Reduced from 4 to 2
National Testing Agency(NTA) conducts JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) every year across the country. JEE Main is a National-level examination that is organized to filter out students to get admission in UG courses offered by top colleges of the country. JEE Main 2022 is expected to have fewer attempts than JEE Main 2022. Last year, due to an outbreak of coronavirus, all the schools, coachings, colleges and universities were closed and the studies of students got affected. Owing to the situation the government decided to give relaxation in a number of attempts to JEE aspirants. Earlier, NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year but in the year 2021, NTA conducts JEE Main 2021 four times a year. As the situation is under control, the ministry decided to conduct JEE Main twice a year like previous year trends.
National Testing Agency is not confirmed of reducing the number of attempts of JEE Main 2022 yet. Once the notification of JEE Main 2022 is out, students will have a few weeks to prepare for the examination. The official notification for JEE Main 2022 is likely to release this month or next month on the official website of National Testing Agency jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in. In this article, we have given all the information regarding the reduced number of attempts in JEE Main 2022. The students appearing in JEE Main 2022 must read the entire article and bookmark this page to get all the latest updates regarding JEE Main 2022.

Will Reduced Attempt Hamper JEE Main Preparation?
Students are afraid that a reduced number of attempts in JEE Main 2022 may lower their chances of passing the exam or receiving a decent rank because last year due to more number of attempts students get a chance to improve their rank in JEE Main. Experts, on the other hand, feel that even if the number of attempts in JEE Main 2022 is reduced, the strategy to crack JEE Main will not change, it will remain the same. Having two attempts in JEE Main 2022, on the other hand, will offer more time to study for JEE Advanced to the students who are willing to get admission in IIT.
The experts are suggesting that JEE Main dates should not clash with the board examination. Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Term 2 exam dates. CBSE will conduct CBSE Term 2 exam from 26th April 2022 onwards. Furthermore, the students must focus on the JEE Main syllabus instead of focusing on the number of attempts. Timely completion of the syllabus will give students an edge over others. The students must start giving chapter tests from the beginning so they can assess their preparation right from the start and can improve their weak areas to consolidate their preparation.
