Haryana Schools Re-Open In July: Ever since the nationwide lockdown came into effect in the month of March 2020, schools across the country have been shut, leaving the students with no other option but to continue their studies from their homes using the available online resources. But with the academic year already having started, students have been feeling a little uncertain regarding their future. The same has been the case with the school students of Haryana. But now, the state government has taken an important decision regarding the resumption of classroom sessions in the schools across the state.
As per the latest updates shared by the state education minister Mr. Kanwar Pal Gujjar, the government has decided to resume classroom sessions for students in the month of July. Initially, classes will begin for students of classes 10th, 11th, and 12th and then later on for the other classes. These classes will be conducted in shifts to ensure the enforcement of the social distancing norms. While interacting with the media, the education minister said, “We will do it in a phased manner by starting teaching work for classes 10, 11 and 12 on July 1; for classes 6, 7, 8 and 9 after 15 days; and for the primary classes from August.
Details Shared By The Education Minister
The education minister further added that “The classes would be held in shifts so that half the students of a class come in the first shift and the rest in the second shift. We are yet to decide whether it should be morning and evening shift or on alternate days.” He also added that a few demo classes will be conducted to work out the intricacies regarding the social distancing norms and how they can be implemented in the classrooms.
