The coronavirus pandemic has taken the entire country in its clutches rendering the government without any other option but to impose a nationwide lockdown. Since 25th March 2020, the entire country has been under lockdown, and with the Lockdown 3.0 being applicable till 17th May 2020, there is no other option with educational institutions but to remain closed and postpone the examinations. But not everything is bleak out there.
There are various states in India that have been declared as Coronavirus-free, including Goa. Goas has been categorized as a Green Zone for the third phase of the lockdown. Now that for several days Goa has not reported any case of Coronavirus, the state government has granted permission for conducting the pending exams for class 10th and class 12th board students. The government has given the consent to conduct these exams after the present phase of the lockdown ends on 17th May 2020.

Goa Board Exam 2020: Students must start preparations
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the examination schedule for the HSSC and SSC exams only after receiving a go-ahead from the government. The government has also been able to give consent for examinations as there are no present cases of Coronavirus in the state, and no new cases have been reported for several days.
Earlier in the week, the Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pramod Sawant had stated that the remaining papers for class 10th and 12th board exams would be conducted once the third phase of the lockdown ends.
Now that the exam dates have been announced, students should start their preparations right away. There is no need to wait for the exact timetable. Any delay in preparations would ultimately jeopardize the final result.
So, students must use all available online as well as offline preparation resources and resume their exam preparations right away. For the precise time table, students must refer to the official website of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
