CSAS 2022: Delhi University DU Admissions 2022 New Update

According to the most recent information, a new procedure for admitting students to undergraduate programs based on their CUET UG results has been authorized by the academic council of Delhi University. Candidates must use the Central Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022 technique in order to get admitted to Delhi University this year.

In accordance with this new procedure, a single website will be created for admission to all universities, and admission will follow the guidelines outlined in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022.  For admission to Delhi University under this, applicants must submit an application through a single platform and go through the subsequent steps.

According to the officials, the academic council has given its approval to the rules created by the standing committee for this way of undergraduate course admission. Three steps will be required for admission through the CSAS 2022: submission of the CSAS 2022 application form; program selection and preference entry; and seat assignment and admission.

CSAS 2022: Delhi University DU Admission Process Phases

  • Applying using the CSAS-2022 application form located on the common site will be required in the first phase. At the time of application, students are required to deposit a one-time (non-refundable) payment. There will be an additional fee for students applying under the Sports or Extracurricular Activities (ECA) supernumerary quota.

  • The candidate will choose her preferred program and college during the second round on the centralized CSAS site. Only when the CUET findings have been revealed will this step begin. If an applicant gets admitted to a program based on her CUET score, she will need to “fill in the preferences” for the program and college combinations. The university urges students to pick several programs and college combinations; however, the order in which they are prioritized must be carefully chosen as it will affect the distribution of seats in the following phase. An applicant must click the “submit” option before the deadline to affirm their selection for the college and program combination. The preferred order cannot be modified after it has been entered. The candidate’s last stored preference order will automatically lock once the deadline expires if they do not click the submit button.

  • The seat allocation will start in the third phase. There will be several rounds of allocation and admission in this phase. On the common admission site, an applicant must verify the seat and college that have been assigned to her. The combination of the colleges and programs chosen, the candidate’s ranking on the merit list, their category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), and the availability of seats will all be taken into consideration when DU makes its allotments.
