Under the Ministry of Education, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being adopted for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for the academic session 2022-23. (MoE). The Single University Entrance Test (CUET) would give a common platform and equitable possibilities to applicants across the country, particularly those from rural and other distant places, and will aid in the establishment of greater links with universities. A single examination will allow candidates to study a broad range of topics and participate in the admissions process to several Central Universities.

CUET Information Bulletin 2022 – Syllabus
According to the CUET information bulletin 2022 syllabus for the CUET exam is:-
Section IA & IB:- Reading Comprehension (based on several sorts of passages–Factual, Literary, and Narrative, [Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary]) will be used to assess language.
Section II:- MCQs are based only on the NCERT Class XII curriculum.
Section III: General Knowledge, Current Events, and General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of fundamental mathematical ideas taught till Grade 8: arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/statistics), Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

Section IA:- 13 different languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu)
Section IB:-19 languages are supported (French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese).

CUET Information Bulletin 2022- Eligibility Criteria for Course Specific
The CUET 2022 qualifying criteria differ based on the programme level of the courses. The academic qualification, stream, and proportion of candidates comprise the CUCET 2022 qualifying requirements. Candidates will be qualified for their selected programmes only after meeting the eligibility requirements.
CUET Information Bulletin 2022- Eligibility Undergraduate Courses
According to the CUCET UG eligibility criteria 2022, applicants must have completed Class 10+2 or equivalent or a 10+3 diploma authorised by the State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 50% marks. Students from the SC and ST groups must have received a minimum of 50% in their Class 12 test.
CUET Information Bulletin 2022- Eligibility Criteria Postgraduate Courses
For admission to postgraduate courses, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject with a grade point average of at least 55 per cent. Students from the SC, ST, PwD, or OBC categories must have received at least 50% in their graduation. The CUCET 2022 eligibility criteria for students from the OBC category may differ based on the participating universities.
CUET 2022 PhD Program Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CUET PhD programmes, candidates must have a master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 55 per cent for general candidates, 50 per cent for OBC candidates, and 45 per cent for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates who have already passed the GATE, NBHM, UGC-CSIR JRF, or any other national level exam are excused from taking the CUCET 2022 entrance exam. They must, however, enrol for the CUET test in 2022.
CUET 2022 – Official Website Launch
NTA only a few weeks ago published the official CUET 2022 announcement via online mode on the official website nta.ac.in. According to the notice, the application form should be available today. However, instead of being released on the NTA’s main website, a new portal – cuet.samarth.ac.in – has been established.
Currently, there is no relevant information regarding the exam on the website. It is fair to anticipate, however, that all public notifications, as well as the exam timetable and information pamphlet, will be made available on CUET’s dedicated website. As a result, all applicants interested in registering for the UG entrance test should check this page periodically for essential changes.
