CISCE Postponed ICSE and ISC semester 1 exams 2021, check official notice @ cisce.org: The ICSE (Class 10) and ISC semester 1 Board Exams have been postponed until 2021 by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The council said late Tuesday night that it had decided to postpone the ICSE and ISC semester 1 exam in 2021. The first-term board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 have been postponed by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) due to circumstances “beyond its control.” The ICSE and ISC Semester 1 examinations have been postponed, according to a circular sent by the Council CISCE Chief Executive Gerry Arathoon on Tuesday (October 19). The next examination dates have yet to be announced.
For both ICSE and ISC, the semester I exams were set to start on November 15 and end on December 6 for Class 10 and December 16 for Class 12. Students should check the CISCE’s official website for the most up-to-date information on the ICSE and ISC semester 1 exam in 2021.

The official notice by the authority had stated, “CISCE has decided to postpone class 10 and 12 first semester examination for 2021-22 session due to reasons beyond our control. All stakeholders will be informed of a revised schedule in due course of time.”

CISCE semester 1 exam 2021-22: The earlier notice and syllabus reduction

CISCE had declared earlier this year that the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th annual exams syllabus would be reduced for the coming year. For the ICSE and ISC 2022 exams, the board has decreased the English and Indian Languages syllabus. This time, for the 2022 exams, the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) had decreased the syllabus for Class 10 and Class 12.
In a statement sent to the heads of all associated schools, Gerry Arathoon, CISCE’s Chief Executive and Secretary, said:
“CISCE has initiated the process of syllabus review for various subjects at the ICSE and ISC levels specifically for Classes 10 and 12, for the Examination Year 2022, to identify portions of the syllabus which may be reduced, without compromising on the quality of content.”
The first-semester exam was scheduled to begin on November 15, 2021. On December 16, 2021, the ISC class 12 exam was set to finish. Furthermore, the ICSE class 10 examination was scheduled to end on December 6, 2021. With the exception of a few areas, the ICSE exam 2021 was planned to last one hour. Mathematics, Hindi, and a second language such as Bengali were all stated to be conducted for one and a half hours.

CISCE Semester 1 Exam 2021-22 Postponed: Schedules and recent news

Class 10 and 12 CBSE date sheets for 2022 have already been announced. The CBSE Term 1 exam for the two board classes are held in November and December by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE has switched to a two-term board-exam structure starting in the academic year 2021-2022.
For Class 10, the CBSE Term 1 exam dates are November 30 through December 11, and for Class 12, the dates are December 1 through December 22. For the major courses alone, the CBSE date sheet 2022 Class 12 and CBSE date sheet 2022 Class 10 have been posted on the official website, cbse.gov.in and cbseacademic.nic.in.
The CBSE admit cards will need to be obtained from the candidates’ respective schools.
