Students not satisfied with the 30:30:40 criteria can appear for the Board Exams physically in August when the Board will conduct the examinations, once the covid cases subside.
Central Board of Secondary Education has canceled the Board Exams on 1st June 2021. Later, the evaluation criteria were declared and students are supposed to be marked on a 30:30:40 basis.

CBSE Latest Exam News 2021- CBSE Board Exams from August to September
Central Board of Secondary Education canceled the Board Exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students for the year 2021. The Board then decided to award marks to the students based on Internal Assessment and Final Exams of Class 10 and Class 11.
Students, who think that this criterion wouldn’t benefit them in any way, can apply for Board Exams to be held in August. The dates are tentative and may change depending upon the Covid situation in the Country.
The dates were mentioned in the submission of the affidavit filed in the Supreme Court of India. Students will have to fill registration forms online that are to appear in the offline exams from August.
Schools have been directed to start the marking process for students and to submit the same once completed to the Board. The Board will then look into the final evaluation and will declare the results.
Each school will have a committee of 5 members followed by the head of the school, who will be evaluating the marks for the students. A portal where all the committees of the schools will submit their marks will be launched on 22 June 2021.
Results for Class 10 students are expected to be released by July 20. And for Class 12, results will be declared by July 31, 2021.
Repeaters, NIOS students, and Compartmental Students for CBSE Board Exams
- Hearing is to take place for the Repeaters, NIOS, and Compartmental Students in the Supreme Court of India.
- According to sources, it has been decided to provide the same opportunity of appearing in offline exams will be given to these students who are not satisfied with the evaluation of the mark and wish to appear for written exams.
- Students who want to appear for the Board Exams offline will have to register themselves on the official website of CBSE, cbse.nic.in.
- The marks in the exams in August will be final and no changes will be made once declared.
