CBSE Class 12th Board Exams Latest News 2021: Recent updates regarding the cancellation, Plea filed in Supreme Court

CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2021:

On Monday, May 17, 2021, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank addressed a high-level meeting regarding speculations about class 12th board exams, and a decision is expected soon.

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court for the cancelation of CBSE & CISCE board exams 2021 amid the surging cases of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Advocate Mamta Sharma filed a petition in the Supreme Court for the cancelation for CBSE Class 12th Exams 2021 and ISC Class 12th exams 2021.

A social media campaign #savetheboardstudents is launched by parents of students of class 12. In favor of this, a PIL was filed, according to it conducting the board exams is not possible due to the ongoing pandemic crisis, and delay in the announcement of the result would affect the students who want to take admissions in foreign universities and hence the boards should declare the results within a fixed time duration based on “Objectively Methodology”.

However, there has been an intervention filed against the PIL by a mathematics teacher from Kerala, calling the cancelation of board exams unfair and inequity.

He said that instead of canceling exams the Board should find an alternative for it.

A letter has been written to P.M. Narendra Modi by the Parents Association seeking the cancelation of CBSE class 12th board exams 2021 as well as CBSE Class 12th board exams 2021.

Parents and Students have raised their fear about the rapid surging cases as well as death rates.

Besides the admissions in universities, few academicians have pointed out the fact that few state boards like Bihar and Kerala have already conducted the board exams and it wouldn`t be fair to the students who have already given the exams and also the cancelation of board exams might affect the student`s growth severely in near-future times.

Amid all these speculations and chaos Education Ministry and CBSE haven`t taken any further decision regarding the pending exams that whether they would cancel the exams or find a new alternative with respect to the ongoing scenario.
