The board has published comprehensive instructions outlining how the practical exams for Class 12 private pupils would be handled in order to help teachers and students. Class 12 Practical Exams for Private Students: Guidelines

Applicants may review the following CBSE regulations for Class 12 Private Students:

  • According to the official announcement made by the CBSE, students from 2022 and 2021 who have repeats in practical (RP), repeats in both theory and practical (RB), or absences would have to sit for the CBSE Class 12 practical exams in 2023.
  • There will be no project evaluation or internal evaluation of the subjects that lack practical components.
  • The project assessment and internal evaluation grades will be prorated and based on the scores received on the theory exam during the current examination.
  • The exam centres designated for the theory exams will host the practical exams.
  • Without fail, students and test-takers must contact their exam locations with a copy of their most recent grade report and admit card.
  • The date and time of the exam’s administration will be made well in advance known to the pupils.
  • According to the official CBSE circular, the regional offices must create a list of all the students for whom practical examinations will be held, organised by subject and examination centre.
  • The students will also be informed about upcoming exams by the regional offices.

Class 12 CBSE Practical Exams for Private Students Begin

Beginning today, March 10, 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will administer the Class 12 practical exams to private pupils. The board has provided specific recommendations to assist teachers and students for practical tests.

Central Board of Secondary Education has published guidelines for the Class 12 practical tests that will be held as part of the CBSE Board Exams in 2023. On the CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in, the instructions have been made available for private candidates.

The practical exams for private applicants will start on March 10 and run through March 29, 2023, at the same testing locations used for the theory exams.

Applicants from 2022 and 2021 who have repeated a practical subject, repeated both a theory and a practical topic, or are absent will nevertheless show up for the exam. Students who applied in full courses in the private category for their respective practical subjects and are class of 2020 or earlier are also eligible to participate.
