CBSE Board Exam 2023 To Be Held Annually

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the new syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 and confirmed that the CBSE Board Exams 2023 will be held once from 2023. The pandemic is under control now and schools are starting to take offline classes instead of online classes. As things are getting back to normal, CBSE has decided to follow the old pattern of board examination. In the year 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education will not conduct the Term 1 and Term 2 examinations instead it will conduct CBSE Class 10 and 12 examiantion annually.

Central Board of Secondary Education has released the complete syllabus for the CBSE Board 10th and 12th Exam 2023 on its official website at https://cbseacademic.nic.in/. The students must check the detailed syllabus released by the board on its official website. CBSE 10th and 12th Syllabus 2023 will help students to be focused on the relevant topics, the syllabus is the prerequisite to cracking any exam. 

Decision Taken By Feedback of Stakeholders

According to the official announcement made by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The decision to return to the annual board exam format is based on the detailed analysis of the new system and feedback from key stakeholders. “Considering the views of stakeholders and other current conditions, the Board will perform the yearly scheme of evaluation at the conclusion of the Academic Session 2022-23, and the curriculum has been created accordingly,” according to the official notice released by CBSE.

Term 1 and Term 2 Replaced By Annual Exam From Next Session

The major and most crucial takeaway from the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education is that the half-yearly i.e. Term 1 and Term 2 exam pattern would not be followed in the next academic session. Due to the spread of Covid-19, the Board has decided to divide the 10th and 12th Board examinations into two terms. So students won’t feel overburdened because schools were closed and students were taking online classes. 

CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted CBSE Term 1 Examination in December. Multiple-choice questions were asked in CBSE Term 1 examination. The CBSE Class 10 and 12 Term 2 Exam will be a blend of subjective and objective type questions. The students must be prepared as the dates are approaching and the board is all set to commence CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 on 26th April 2022. 

CBSE Released Class 10 and Class 12 Syllabus For 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced that it will conduct CBSE Board Exam 2023 annually from the next session. Furthermore, the Central Board of Secondary Education has also released the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Syllabus 2023 on its official website. The board has asked the schools to follow the  CBSE Class 10 and 12 Syllabus 2023 from the next session and the board also asked teachers to teach students using “suitable teaching-learning strategies such as Art-Integrated Education, Experiential Learning, and Pedagogical Plans etc. wherever possible.”

The Central Board of Secondary Education has published the detailed subject-wise syllabus for all courses for students in the 10th and 12th grades on its official website as PDF files. The board has issued the CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2023 for 114 subjects and the CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2023 for 75 subjects.
