CBSE Class 12th Board Exams 2021 Cancelled
Today evening, 1st June 2021, high-level Officials responsible for taking the final decision for CBSE Class 12th Board Exams 2021, have declared that this year there won’t be any Board exams for Class 12th, which means they have canceled the CBSE Board Exams 2021! This news comes after months of postponing the exams for Class 10th.
Students across social media have been protesting since the beginning of this year, as schools and colleges were shut down from last year at some places. This is the reason students were not able to complete their syllabus on time and were not receiving quality education due to a lack of proper communication between the school authorities and the students.
This decision has come after accessing the current Covid-19 situation of the state. This comes as a great relief for students who have been protesting to cancel the exams. They feel overwhelmed by the decision and say that they can prepare for their higher studies peacefully.
CBSE 12th Board Exam 2021 Latest News: No Exams for CBSE Class 12
The final decision has come after days when Supreme Court was supposed to declare the ultimate decision. With the final call, as the Board exams have been canceled, students can now study for the entrance exams and prepare for higher studies.
This has come as a great relief for students, parents, and teachers alike who were quite pressured for the Exams from the starting of the academic year, 2020 – 2021. Nearly 56 lakh students had registered this year for the Board Exams including 12th as well as 10th. All further university and college-level exams continue to take place in the online mode because of the rise in cases. Once the cases decline, further decisions will be taken and informed accordingly.
Officials present in the final meeting held for the decision of Class 12th Board Exams 2021 were, Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Information & Broadcasting, Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises Prakash Javedkar, and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
Previously states have sent their official reports to conduct Board Exams for Class 12 in offline mode, but by changing the total duration of the exam. The cancellation decision has only been taken after keeping in mind all the points stated by state governments and analyzing the current situation of the country.
Supreme Court’s next hearing is on 3rd June, where the decision will be taken for the final time. The Central has informed the Supreme Court about the decision for the cancellation of Class 12th Board Exams 2021.
