Here are our main concerns about the 2023 CBSE board exams taking place in February-March:

  1. How will you cover learning losses due to school closures during the COVID-19 outbreak?
  2. Students are lacking writing practice as online courses have been in place for the past two years.
  3. Removed parts of the major syllabus have been restored.
  4. How can I cover 100% of the syllabus by December and pre-board in January?
  5. Are students given enough time to practice and review?

The Board’s announcement of issuing the exam date 2023 has raised concerns among schools, students, and stakeholders.

CBSE Exam Dates 2023- Impact on students Class 10 and 12

Students in the current grade suffer from learning disabilities. Now that schools have reopened for the first time in two years, students are returning to their normal study habits and looking to review what they learned in previous classes.

Students lack writing practice, which plays a key role in the offline board exams needed to write an 80-mark paper in three hours. Therefore, strategies should be prepared to improve speed and maintain accuracy.

Students had prepared a shortened curriculum for two years. However, most of the deleted parts are retained and the student will be required to study and prepare 100% of the syllabus from 2022 for his CBSE board exam in 2023. There will be a lot of pressure on students to cope with the changed exam pattern.
