The leaders of each executive government ministry sit on it, which is presided over by the prime minister. Appointment and Removal of Cabinet Ministers of India

According to Article 75, the President, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, appoints ministers who serve at the leisure of the president. Evidence suggests that an MP’s electoral success increases the likelihood of being given a cabinet position at least since the turn of the millennium.

Following are the conditions under which the Cabinet Ministers of India can be removed:

If a Cabinet minister dies
Upon the Prime Minister’s resignation, death, or self-resignation.
After being fired by the President for a minister’s violations of Article 75 (2).
After receiving a directive from the judiciary for breaking the law.
When a person loses their eligibility to serve in parliament.
The Prime Minister and the whole Council of Ministers must resign in accordance with Article 75’s “Collective Responsibility” clause if a Vote of No Confidence is approved by the Lower House (Lok Sabha) of the Indian Parliament.
