The pass percentage of Class 12 students in the results declared in April was 78.17 percent which will now be increased to 85.50 percent after promoting the students who failed in one or two subjects.

Elaborated Information on BSEB 10th (Matric) & 12th Compartmental Result 2021
Bihar Board will declare the results today at 5 pm for the students who have appeared in the compartment exams. The Board has decided to give the students grace marks in the subjects in which they had compartment.
The grace marks will allow the students to pass the subject and opt for higher studies directly. The results will be declared on the official website of the Bihar Education Board.
The compartment exams were postponed due to the Covid situation and have now been finally canceled. The cancellation of the compartment exams was taken by keeping the future of the students a priority.
Earlier, the results for the Class 10th students were declared and the pass percentage was 78.26%. After the policy for grace marks, the pass percentage has risen to 85.53%. Students who had a compartment in one or two subjects were in total 1, 21,316 who have now been promoted. The total number of students who had passed the Class 10th Boards was earlier 12, 93,054. It has now increased to 14, 14,370 after the adoption of the grace policy.
The same is the case with Class 12th students. A total of 13, 40,267 students had appeared for the 12th Boards in Bihar out of which 10, 48,846 were declared to be passed. Earlier the pass percentage for them was 78.26%. And now, after the grace marks, it has risen to 85.50%. 97,474 students have now been promoted with grace marks with which the latest pass percentage is 11, 46,320.

The exams for Class 12th were supposed to be conducted from 29 April to 10 May 2021. This was later staggered due to the second wave of the virus. The officials have stated that there is no chance of conducting the exams for the next three months.
And even if they conduct the exams, the results will be declared by October-November 2021. This would not benefit the students in any way.
