While the result for the class 12th students who appeared for the Bihar Board Exams was announced in the month of March 2020 itself, the result for the class 10th students is still being awaited. Due to the nationwide lockdown prompted by the Coronavirus pandemic, the result for class 10th students of the Bihar School Examination Board have been delayed.
Earlier, the board officials had stated that the evaluation of the answer sheets of class 10th students would be started after the lockdown ends on May 17, 2020. But now the officials have decided to start the evaluation of the answer sheets from May 6, 2020, itself, i.e., amidst the lockdown. It is now expected that the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 will now be declared sooner than expected.
Bihar Board 10th Result 2020: Multiple Delays Creating Confusion
The Bihar Board 12th Results 2020 have already been released on the official website of the Bihar School Education Board on March 24, 2020, for all the streams. But the process of evaluation for the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 got delayed due to the lockdown. Initially, the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 was expected to be released on March 31, 2020, but got delayed to April 14, 2020, and then till May 3, 2020, corresponding with the dates of the lockdown.
But now the BSEB has decided that the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 should be declared soon as more than 12 lakh students are eagerly awaiting their result. The evaluation process for class 10th answer sheets will not resume from May 6, 2020, and thereafter the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 will be declared soon.
As per a statement issued by Mr. Anand Kishor, Chairperson, BSEB, “We are trying to find out possible ways for carrying out evaluation work. Since we have around 25% of answer sheets unchecked, less number of evaluators would be required for assessment. A week will be enough to settle the remaining work.”
Bihar Board 10th Result 2020: Results expected soon
As the current academic session has already started, any further delay in the announcement of Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 will be detrimental for the academic future of the students. This is the reason that now the Bihar School Examination Board is trying its best to complete the evaluation process during the lockdown itself. As only a part of the answer, sheets are still to be evaluated; planning is underway to get it completed with a lesser number of evaluators.
The BSEB is trying to complete the evaluation process as soon as possible and then declare the final result by the end of this month or in the first week of next month. In the meanwhile, students and their parents are eagerly waiting for the Bihar Board 10th Result 2020 since the exams were completed in February 2020 itself.
