For the 668 vacancies released for Sub-Inspector post, the Admit card is now available. WB SI Admit Card 2019 is out for the candidates to appear in the written exam, which will be held on 15th December 2019. The candidates are selected to fill the following posts:
- Sub-Inspector of Police (Un-armed Branch)
- Sub-Inspector of Police (Armed Branch)

Besides downloading the admit card, candidates should note the pattern of the West Bengal SI Preliminary exam. Note the key points here:
- There will be questions from General Studies (50 questions), Logical & Analytical reasoning (25 questions) and Arithmetic(25 questions).
- The exam will of 100 marks and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- After qualifying the prelim exam, candidates will be able to appear for Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Interview, Verification Round and Medical Exam
- After qualification in these rounds, candidates will be called merit-wise to appear in the Personality Test
Documents to Carry with the Admit Card
Candidates appearing in West Bengal SI Exam 2019 must carry one of the following documents:
- Voter ID
- Employee ID
- College ID
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Driving License
Please note that a Passport Size Photograph as submitted in the Application form must be carried too.
Instructions to the candidates:
- Neither any paper Admit Card will be issued or sent by post to the candidates who have applied on-line nor will it be made available from the office of the
- Mobile phone, Bluetooth enabled hearing device, portable scanner, digital wristwatch, calculator, pen or any other material for cheating is strictly prohibited from being taken into the venue.
- Any infringement of these instructions shall entail strict legal action including ban from the future examination.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to cancellation of candidature without recourse to representation.
