A total of 16500 vacant posts have been announced for the Primary School Teacher by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education through an official notification. It has invited the candidates who have qualified and trained from TET 2014 who are seeking the post of Assistant Teacher against 16500 state-wise vacancies in Govt. Aided/ Sponsered Primary/Junior Basic Schools.

Educational Qualification

The candidate shall possess the minimum educational and training qualification as prescribed by National Council for Teacher Education and should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014, conducted by the West Bengal Board of primary education under the order of the govt. of West Bengal under the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2020)

The candidate should be of the age group 18 to 40 years

There will be age relaxation for the reserved category as per government norms
