WBPSC Audit & Accounts Service Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University or must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or must be a Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA/PGDM (FINANCE) or equivalent post-graduation degree in Finance under 2 (Two) years full-time regular course approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Age Limit (as of 01/01/2020)

The age of the candidate applying for the recruitment must not be more than 36 years (i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 1984)

Upper Age Relaxation 

The upper age relaxation is applicable only to the candidates of West Bengal only, no relaxation is applicable to S.C./S.T./B.C. candidates of other states as they shall be treated as general candidates.

• SC/ST- Upper age relaxed by 5 years
• OBC- Upper age relaxed by 3 years
• PWD- Upper age limit is up to 45 years

WBPSC Audit & Accounts Service Recruitment 2020-21: Selection Process

WBPSC will be holding a two-stage written exam to select the candidates for further stages:

1. Preliminary Written Test
2. Mains Written Test

The candidates who will be shortlisted by qualifying both Prelims & Mains exam will be called for a Personality Test at the office of Public Service Commission, West Bengal in Kolkatta

Pay Scale For Account & Audit Officer

Selected candidates will get the Pay Scale of PB-4 Rs.15600/- to Rs.42000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- per month with DA, MA, HRA. At entry-level, Monthly Gross pay will be Rs.21000/-
