UPTET 2019 Exam Date has been released as per a notice released by the UP Board. The UPTET 2019 exam will be conducted 08th January 2020 now. This decision has been made keeping in mind the situation due to riots all over. About 16 lakhs candidates are going to appear for the exam. - Minimum- 21 years
- Maximum 40 years
- 5 years Relaxation for reserved category candidates
Education Qualification:
For each level of Teacher, there’s different eligibility criteria in Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test. Check below for each level:
UPTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (class I -V):
- Candidates having Graduation Degree from recognized University/Institute along with having two Years BTC/Spcl. BTC will be considered. OR
- Candidates having Special Education Two Years Diploma in D.Ed (appearing/completed) approved by NCTE/RCI will be considered. OR
- Candidates who have passed their Intermediate level of Examination with 50% marks along with Four years BLED Course(Complete/appearing) will be considered.
UPTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Junior Level Teachers (class VI-VIII):
- Candidates having Graduation Degree along with having NCTE Certificate/Two years BTC/Spcl. BTC/One Year B.Ed. (Appearing/Completed) will be considered. OR
- Candidates having graduation/Post graduation Degree with 50% marks along with having B.Ed/Spcl B.Ed/LT/Or having 45% Marks with B.Ed. (Completed/Appearing) will be considered. OR
- Candidates who have passed their Intermediate level of Examination with 50% Marks along with having 50% Marks with Four year Course in BA/B.Sc.Ed. /BA Ed/Four year B.A LED Graduation Course (Appearing/Passed) will be considered.
UPTET 2019 Exam Pattern:
- The paper will have questions from the Language(Hindi and English)
- UPTET 2019 consists of Multiple Choice Questions only.
- It is a pen and paper mode paper.
- There is no negative marking in UPTET.

UPTET Online Application Fee:Â
The online application form needs a formality of making the payment, that is the application fee for UPTET 2019. The fee cost is different for each category. Given below are the details:
- General/UR or OBC Categories must pay Rs 400/-
- Reserve category candidates must pay Rs 200/-
- PwD Candidates are Exempted

The Admit Card release date is 12th December 2019 and the UPTET Exam Date, 22nd December 2019.
