UPSC Publishes Civil Services Prelims Exam Question Paper 2020: UPSC has releases question paper of the Civil Services Prelims examination that was held on 4 October, 2020 in two shifts.
Paper I was conducted from 9.30 am to 11.30 am
Paper II was conducted from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 GS paper I comprises of 100 questions of 2 marks each with objective MCQ format and the paper is not qualifying in nature and is important to reach cut-off marks. The cut-off marks vary every year due to the dynamic nature of the paper. On the other hand, UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 GS paper II comprises 80 questions and is of qualifying nature.

On the website upsc.gov.in, question paper is available of both GS Paper I and GS Paper II (CSAT) and can be downloaded for free. No doubt, it will help UPSC aspirants in their preparation for the Civil Services Examination. Also, the Supreme Court has asked the UPSC to consider of providing one more attempt to the candidates who have the last attempt this year.
It has been seen that answer key of the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam will be released after the final result is out. As, in 2019, UPSC released the answer key of the preliminary exam question paper after the final result was declared.

It is expected that the result of UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2020 Examination will come next month. After the announcement of the result, the name of the candidates along with their marks will be released and this list comes in two or three days after the declaration of the result.
The main exam is scheduled in January 2021 and the candidates who qualify the exam will be shortlisted for the main exam.
