UPPSC Lecturer Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should a Postgraduate degree in the respective subject they are applying for from a recognized institute/ Board.
Age Limit (as on 01/07/2021)
- Minimum age limit: 21 Years
- Maximum age limit: 40 Years
Marital Status: Male candidates who are married to more than one wife living and female candidates who have married a person already having a wife, shall not be eligible to apply unless the Hon’ble Governor has granted exemption from this condition.

UPPSC Lecturer Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Prelims and Mains Written examinations which will be conducted by the authority. Only the candidates who qualify prelims will be eligible to appear in the Mains exam and have to submit their application for the Mains exam separately. The candidate applying for more than one subject shall be treated eligible only for the post of the subject in which they appear in the examination.
