UGC NET Admit Card 2021: Check UGC NET 2021 Exam Date

UGC NET Admit Card 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release admit cards for the May 2021 exam of the University Grants Commission (UGC)’s National Eligibility Test (NET) exam in April 2021 @ntanet.nic.in. The NTA is going to conduct the UGC NET 2021 exam in the month of May 2021. NTA conducts the NET Exam to select eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor & Assistant Professor.

Highlights of NTA UGC NET Exam

  1. NTA UGC NET is a computer-based exam, which is conducted twice a year, one in June and the other in December. Candidates who have obtained a maximum of 55% in their PG are eligible to appear for the exam.
  2. A national-level exam conducted in order to select candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
  3. UGC NET Paper 1 consists of reasoning, numerical, and teaching ability, and Paper 2 is purely based on the subject chosen by candidates.
  4. Paper Number of Questions Maximum Marks

    Total 150 MCQs 300 marks
  5. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  6. Candidates have to score 40% marks (35% for reserved candidates) together in Paper 1 and Paper 2 to qualify for the exam. There is no negative marking.

Case of problems in downloading UGC NET Admit Card:

  1. Admit cards will not be issued/be available to the candidates who have submitted incomplete applications
  2. Candidates who have made incorrect entries in the application form will find their submission invalid
  3. Candidates, who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria will not be issued the admit card
  4. A network/internet connection, that is slow might lead to a delay in the display of the admit card
  5. If you have forgotten your login credentials, you may click on the link, “I can’t access my account” present in the admit card download window and regenerate the login details

Documents to carry with UGC NET Admit Card 2021

  1. Candidates must remember to carry a Photo ID card along with their NET Admit Card. The Photo ID Cards may include, Licence, Aadhar card, PAN Card, Passport, Ration Card, Voter ID, etc.
  2. They should also carry a passport size photograph that must match the photograph submitted in the Application form

Important Points:

  • Candidates must also note the things not to carry during the exam to avoid any issues during the conduct of the exam. Calculator, Log Tables, Textual Material, Electronic Watches, Printed or written material, Mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, Eatables, Pen, and other stationery items. However, diabetic patients may carry a few permitted eatables & a transparent water bottle.
  • Do not arrive late in the exam, as late arrivals will not be allowed to enter the exam hall
  • Anyone found with barred items will get their candidature canceled for the exam
  • Leaving the exam hall before time
  • Non-submission of the rough sheet and allotted stationary
