TN 10th Result 2020 Declared: Check Tamilnadu SSLC Result @tnresults.nic.in, 100% Students Passed

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination, TN DGE has declared the TN 10th result 2020 at tn.results.nic.in/A total of 9,39,829 students who had appeared for the TN Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam 2020 can check their TN 10th Result 202 from the direct link that is given on this site below. The state has declared every candidate pass, i.e. 100% pass percentage has been achieved this year. The State has promoted all the students since not all exams could be held due to COVID pandemic. Students, however, will get their detailed marks based on quarterly and half-yearly assessments. Further 20 per cent weightage was also be given to attendance.

This year, there has been a 100% pass percentage. All the students have been declared passed in the TN 10th Result 2020. In 2019, a total of 9.76 lakh students had appeared in the TN Class 10/ SSLC Exam wherein 95.2% of students passed. This year, all students were promoted to the next class.

  • Pass Percentage: 100%

  • The schools will distribute mark sheets of the students from August 17. The candidates need to contact their respective schools to get their mark sheets available till August 21. Meanwhile, the students can download their provisional mark sheets online through the link given below.

  • Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu board has stopped declaring the names of toppers. Instead, it announced the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. According to the DGE, the move is aimed to reduce unhealthy competition
  • The pass percentage in SSLC exam touched 100 per cent this year, as the government earlier declared all students passed. The SSLC exam was cancelled following the Madras High Court order

The TN Board has provided 80% weightage to marks obtained by students in quarterly and half-yearly exams, whereas attendance contributes 20% weightage.
