UGC NET Exam Date For June 2020 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card of the UGC NET June exam @ntanet.nic.in. The University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through this exam, Indian candidates are selected for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian Universities and Colleges. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall apply online through the link that is given below.

UGC NET Admit Card 2020
The UGC NET Admit Card 2020 is released on 19th September 2020. After being rescheduled several times, the exam will be held from September 24th, 2020. The link to download the UGC NET Admit Card is available as it is released officially.
The exam will be held in the computer-based test (CBT) consists of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between papers. It will be a three-hour exam in which students will be asked 200 questions. The first part of the exam will have 50 questions for 100 marks and the second will have 100 questions for 200 marks.

UGC NET 2020: Notification
UGC NET Notification and the registration was out on 16th March 2020. UGC NET Exam is conducted twice in a year, once in the month of June and then in the month of December. Until July 2018, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was responsible for conducting the UGC NET exam but from December 2018 onwards, NTA is conducting the UGC National Eligibility Test. Each year lakhs of candidates apply for UGC NET to become Assistant Professor and JRF in Indian Colleges & Universities.

UGC NET Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC recognized Universities/Institutions.
- Candidates should have scored:
General Candidates: 55% marks
Reserved Category Candidates: 50% marks. - Candidates, those appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
- Percentage relaxation is given to Ph.D. degree holders in aggregate marks.
Age Limit
Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) – For Junior Research Fellowship the upper age limit is 30 years as of 1st June 2020. However, age relaxation is given for the Reserved Category of Candidates.
Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor
