  1. SSC JHT Essential qualifications:
    (a) For post codes ‘A’ to ‘D’: Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level; or

Marking Scheme Of SSC JHT 2020

  • Paper I will consist of Multiple choice questions only (objective type).
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I.
  • Paper II shall be evaluated in respect of only those candidates, only who qualify in Paper I.
  • The Commission may at its discretion, fix qualifying marks in Paper II.

The exam pattern of the paper I is given in the table. There will be two section of Hindi and English of 100 marks each. The exam will be of 2 hours. Candidates need to complete the whole paper in 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 march for each wrong answer marked. Those candidates who qualify the Paper I are going to appear for the Paper II of SSC JHT. Paper II consists of two sections i.e., Translation and Essay Writing.
