IBPS Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the criteria for educational qualification and Age Limit as per IBPS Clerk Notification.

Educational Qualifications

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/ Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while applying online.

Computer Literacy

  • Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/ UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
  • Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil examination qualifications should be matriculated Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on 09.10.2020.  Such certificates should be dated on or before 09.10.2020.

 No interview process is required for the selection of the post of Clerk. 100% weightage is given to the result of the mains exam result. IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern: Highlights

  1. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

As you know that the IBPS RRB recruits candidates for two posts, i.e. Office Assistant/Clerk and Officer Scale. Therefore, the exam process is different for each of the exams.

IBPS RRB Officer Assistant Exam Pattern

IBPS RRB Assistant 2020, Exam will be conducted in two phases:

  •  Preliminary Exam
  •  Mains Exam

No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by the candidate in his/her Mains Examination.

There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.

There will not be any interview after the Mains Exam to get selected for the post of Office Assistant. Selection will be made solely on the scores secured by the candidate in the Mains Exam.

IBPS RRB Officer PO Exam Pattern

For IBPS RRB Officer 2020, the exam will be conducted in three phases:

  1.  Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Interview Process

The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate in both IBPS RRB Mains Exam and the Interview. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate.

IBPS RRB 2020 Result

IBPS RRB Social Distancing Norms 2020

This time, exam centers will not display the candidates’ Roll Number and Room or Lab Number on their walls. Candidates will be informed about their Lab number in which they need to sit for the exam at the time of verification of Admit Card and ID at the exam center.

Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue that are listed below:

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a Graduate Degree or equivalent from any recognized institution or University.

Age Limit for BPSC 66th Combined Competitive (Pre) Exam 2020:

General Male – 37 Years
General Female/ OBC/ OBC (Male/Female) – 40 years
SC / SC (Male/Female) – 42 years

BPSC 66th CCE Notification 2020 Selection Process

The selection process of BPSC 66th  Recruitment 2020 comprises prelims exam, mains exam, and interview. Candidates who clear the preliminary examination will be called for the mains exam and personal interview subsequently. For the mains exam candidates also need to choose two optional subjects from the list of 34 subjects given in the BPSC notification PDF.

BPSC 66th Notification 2020 Exam Pattern

BPSC Prelims Exam

  • The BPSC Prelims Exam will be objective in nature.
  • The total marks of the objective paper will be 150 marks for a duration of 2 Hours.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in Prelims are:
    1. General Category – 40%
    2. BC – 36.5%
    3. OBC – 34%
    4. Women/SC/ST/PwD – 32%

  • The BPSC Civil Service Main examination is subjective in nature.
  • There are four paper and three among them is common to all.
  • Candidates have to select one optional paper of their choice. Paper-01 General Hindi is of Qualifying nature only.
