IBPS Clerk Mains Result 2020: IBPS has released the result of IBPS Clerk Mains exam on 20th May 2020,Wednesday. The wait of many candidates is over, as many candidates are anxiously waiting for the IBPS Clerk results. As per the previous years’ trend, the result was supposed to out on 01st April. But this year has been rare. Due to lock down imposed throughout the country from midnight of 24th March 2020 to contain the spread of COVID-19 corona virus, the result has been delayed, which is declared on 20th May 2020.

The IBPS Clerk Mains exam was conducted on 19th January 2020 and the Re-Exam for some candidates was held on 08 February 2020 at various centers across India. Trends of IBPS Clerk Exam

  1. Stages of the exam: The two stages of IBPS Clerk exam are discussed. It is important for the candidate to qualify both the exams in order to get recruited as Clerk.
    The two stages are:
    Prelims Examination
    Mains Examination
  2. If a Candidate qualifies Prelims examination only then he/she is eligible to give Mains Examination.
  3. No interview will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Clerk. Selection will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in his/ her Mains Examination.
  4. Normalization of Marks: The process of equalizing the scores in an exam based on the varying difficulty levels is what comes under normalization. To maintain the same difficulty level, where there are exams taking place in various shifts, the overall scores are normalized, that is, they are rounded off till 2 decimal digits.
  5. Merit List: A merit list is prepared for the candidates, who are shortlisted after the final round. A waiting list is also made for 10% of tentative vacancy.

IBPS Clerk Final Result 2020

IBPS Clerk Final Result 2020 includes the consideration scores obtained by the candidate in the mains exam. This also includes a cutoff release, that is a basis of preparation of the merit list.
