SSC has released a notice on 25th September 2020 for the candidates who will be appearing for the SSC CGL, JE, Stenographer and Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) the option to change the exam centres. As we know that the following exams have been delayed due to COVID 19 Pandemic. Therefore, SSC has asked the candidates to change the exam test centre preference, if any. Candidates who will be appearing for the aforesaid examinations can change their preference for three exam cities on the official website of the exam latest by September 29.
SSC exams for which test centre preference can be changed include:
- SSC JE paper-I 2019
- SSC Stenographer 2019
- SSC CGL tier-II and tier-III 2019
- Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) 2020
How to Change SSC Exam Centre Preference?
To change the preference for SSC exam cities, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Commission – ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Enter the credentials given below:
- Registration number
- Password
Step 3: Captcha code as visible on the screen.
Step 4: Click on Login.
Step 5: Click on the link available to change the exam city preference.
Step 6: Change the SSC exam city preference.
Step 7: Click on the Submit button to submit the changes made.
