Sikkim TET Syllabus
Paper 1 Syllabus:
The questions will be based on the syllabus for classes I to V, but their difficulty level, as well as linkage, will be up to the secondary stage.
Paper 2 Syllabus:
The Questions in the test will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for the Class VI to VII classes but, their difficulty level, as well as linkage, could be up to the level above as well.
Sikkim TET Application Form
The Application Form will be available from 4th march 2020 for Sikkim TET.
Rs.400/-on account of Exam fee should be deposited in favor of Joint Director/ Examinations, HRDD from any bank or branches of IDBI Bank (IDBI Account Number:0108102000006767 branch: Gangtok).
Online Form Requirements
- Bank Receipt of Payment. Can be paid from any Bank through core banking)
- Scanned/Digital Photograph (of the Applicant)
- Scanned Signature (of the Applicant)

Bank Drafts will not be accepted. Print-out of the Online Application form along with relevant documents should be submitted at Room No.308 of Education Department (HQ) from 12th March 2020 to 19th March 2020 from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
Eligibility Criteria For Sikkim TET 2020 Application
1.1 Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Primary Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed).
OR - Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
OR - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC (Central), OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
1.2 Minimum Qualification for becoming Graduate Teacher for classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage)
- B.A./B.Sc./ with 50% marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.)
OR - B.A./B.Sc./ with 50 % marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing* in the final year 2 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.)
